Owners on the trail.
"Faster boil time than my old MSR. The split design is brilliant — canister sits in the dirt while the burner stays clean on a flat rock."
"Bought for my van setup. Quiet, efficient, and the infrared head doesn't blow out in wind like open-flame burners do."
Common questions.
What is infrared cooking?
An infrared burner uses a ceramic or metal mesh that glows red-hot when fueled — radiating heat directly into your cookware. Faster, more even, and more fuel-efficient than traditional open-flame burners.
How is "split-type" different?
Standard camping stoves screw directly onto the canister. Split-type uses a flexible hose so the burner sits separate — safer in tight spaces and lets you cook closer to the ground.
Can I use this indoors?
Outdoor only. Always cook in a well-ventilated area. Combustion produces carbon monoxide which is unsafe in enclosed spaces.
How long does a canister last?
An 8-oz butane canister gives ~75 minutes at full power. A 16-oz propane canister roughly doubles that. Lower flame settings extend runtime significantly.
